The people

Vic Balatico

Developer

Since he was a kid, Vic has been fascinated by puzzles and strategy games, from 5x5x5 Rubik's cubes to Starcraft. Naturally, he found his calling in web development and the problem-solving intricacies of writing code. He believes in creating a user-friendly experience for every product he develops with scalable and robust web application systems.

He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Engineering from Expression College for Digital Arts (now SAE Expression College) in Emeryville, CA. He plays guitar, bass guitar, and piano, and is learning to play the drums.

Vic was born in the Philippines, raised in Utah and Hawaii, moved to the Bay Area to attend college, and currently lives in Los Angeles.

Linda Uehara

Designer

Born and raised in Hawaii, Linda moved to the mainland after college, eager to experience life in a big city and eventually start her own business. After refining her craft as an in-house graphic designer in San Francisco, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she and Vic co-founded September People.

She believes that design should not only be visually engaging but also easy to use and understand. She also believes that asking clients difficult questions is necessary to arrive at the best possible design solution.

Linda received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Hawaii. When she’s not designing things, you can find her at metal shows around LA or practicing her drums.
